Cypress Upholstery has been family owned and operated since 1998. What initially started as a business out of owner Mei Chor’s garage, Cypress Upholstery now resides on the south side of
Vancouver. With its humble beginnings, Cypress Upholstery focuses on customer service, quality and craftsmanship.
At Cypress Upholstery, we bring your old or used furniture back to life! Apart from home decor, Cypress Upholstery also provides custom-built and sleek furniture for offices, restaurants, and various other commercial spaces.

Meet the Team
Mei Chor Yet
Mei Chor started Cypress Upholstery in 1998 after working in a trusted upholstery shop in Vancouver for 15 years. He has owned and operated Cypress Upholstery since the beginning.
Mei Chor has been doing upholstery since 1981 and has honed his skills throughout the years. He takes pride in the quality and craftsmanship of his work.
In his free time, Mei Chor enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family and singing karaoke.
